I guess they weren't technically unwatchable, since I watched them, but man they were bad.

I hate courtroom scenes at the best of times because they always take me out of my suspension of disbelief. This is probably irrational of me -- after all, nobody thinks that actors are actually having sex, but the lack of reality in sex scenes doesn't bother me. But S2 was so awful on that score that even my attempt to overlook the bad didn't really work.
