Star Trek - best and worst films?

So, rank the best and worst Star Trek films...and quick what was the worst and best Star Trek film ever made?

Best?

1) Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan (Ricardo Montablan reprises a bitter Khan, and Spock sacrifices himself for the crew.)

Then:

2.) Star Trek: Voyage Home (Spock reunites with the crew, and they go back in time)
3) Star Trek : The Undiscovered Country (Peace Treaty with the Klingons)
4.) Star Trek: First Contact (The Borg)
5) Star Trek: Generations (Picard and Kirk meet up)
6.) Star Trek: The Search for Spock (They find Spock)
7) Star Trek : Reboot

Worst?

1) Star Trek: The Final Frontier (Spock's half brother is on a mission to find god, instead he finds the devil)
2.) Star Trek : The Motion Picture (more special effects than story)
3) Star Trek: Insurrection (not memorable)
4) Star Trek: Into Darkness (plot doesn't quite work)
5) Star Trek: Nemesis (silly)

I actually liked Insurrection when I finally saw it. Particularly after it's bad reputation. For me, the worst is "Generations". The magical storm thing just felt daft to me. Nemesis had its issues, but it has the best spaceship battles out of any of the films.

How do you know they didn't find a god in Star Trek 5? They never say it was the devil.

I admittedly can't even remember Insurrection that well, except I think I thought the story was silly at the time? Had somewhat the same response to Insurrection that you did to Generations, I'm guessing.

Mileage it varies, you know? ;-)

Finale Frontier? I remember the creature was red, had horns, and acted like the Christian mythology version of the devil...but it was over 25 years ago that I saw it, so it's possible my memory has merged it with something else. Mainly I remember how cheesy the script was, the horrific special effects.

The god in Final Frontier definitely wasn't red with horns. Even when he starts being evil, all that changes is that he fires rays out of his eyes. He looks like this (blue, not red, for one thing):

I admittedly haven't looked at the movie since the 1980s...but I remember it being really stupid. Maybe it improves upon re-watching?

"Why would God need a spaceship?"

Ah, I remember that...bit now. Exactly.
