I could see what the movie was trying to do, but most of the time I was looking askance at the makeup on the actors. It was more of an interesting experiment than a successful movie.

I loved Cloud Atlas the book! Though not all sections equally, but fortunately it jumps around enough that when I was getting tired of one character it would move on to someone else.
