As to "quibbling" - my own experience taught me that many people use Internet as a shrink's couch, free of charge. People need to vent their frustrations. Hate posts always reap more comments than love posts. People just love to write how they hate this or that development, character, twist.
Actually I meant in response to a post, not posting themselves. ie. I post that I liked No Ordinary Family this week, and someone feels the need to rant about how they hated it in direct response to my post. Or I post that I disliked Project Runway and wanted to throw things at the screen and someone responds directly to that post stating they loved it and the dress. What's the point of that? Outside of pissing me off and making me want to kick them?
It's one thing to disagree or point out a flaw in the argument, it's another to respond to an obviously subjective opinion with one of your own.
Why? What do they think is going to be the outcome? I've decided over time, not to respond to people when they do it. Because it's either slap them upside the head, have a pointless argument, or ignore. Since it's just a tv show? I'm opting for ignore from herein out.
