That was my reaction to both as well. Joni's voice cracks at weird intervals. She has an odd voice, it's a broad range, but weirdly off at times and jarring.

And I'd agree that sometimes Judy would be off...but usually I felt her voice was strong and rich and clear. I just like listening to her better.
