Yeah, I don't think I could do scuba diving -- I struggle with snorkling. I can swim well, but not with flippers, a tube in my mouth and goggles filling with water. It made me crazy. LOL!
Also, pretty fish. But, I realized I'd rather swim without other life swimming around me. I was somewhat disappointed.
And I asked selenak about the hot balloon rides. She said she didn't love heights either, but somehow it was different? I have troubles envisioning that. I get vertigo when I get up high, it has to do with having no depth perception. To me the ground is reaching up to me, so it's hard for me to tell how far away it is, and this throws off my balance. I have a feeling this why skiing didn't quite work for me either, and it is definitely why I avoid driving.
The meringues had tangurines inside...so a bit of orangey tartness with the cream and the cream isn't the same as ours...it's not whipped cream, it's more clotted cream or something much better. Impossible to get here. They had it at the street markets in either Swansea or Cardiff. I think it was Swansea, Wales.
Only place I don't get motion sickness at all is on trains. I think it's because you are on a track and more or less going straight, with little to no sense of movement. Most of the time it's a smooth ride. Not always. Wasn't today on the subway, and wasn't on Friday. But mostly.
