I’m a big fan of Johnny Cash and have been ever since I saw him at an enlisted men’s club on long Bing Post in Vietnam. Cash was a big star then but he came to ‘nam and performed at small venues like our EM club, giving everybody a chance to see him in a more intimate setting. He could have arranged for a bigger setting, like some other groups did, but I will never forget that evening in the club.
