I'm surprised that your squick point is the violation of the human form. (As an aside, the spider thing is more of a phobia than a squick point. Violation of the human form and body horror - is a major squick point of mine - it's why I have not been able to watch most Croenberg films. I think I've only been able to watch three of them - and they weren't horror movies. It's also why I've never been able to watch the Fly - I can't. I've tried, and given up. Also there's a scene in Poltergiest that is really hard to watch - it's cut from most of the television viewings. It was not cut from the version in the movie theater - unfortunately.)
