I may watch episode #2 before I say much more. What I'm trying to remember is Whedon's first seasons aren't very good. Buffy S1 was bad, Angel S1 was bad...unfortunately Dollhouse and Firefly didn't have a season 2, they barely had much of a S1, so I can't judge.
