On hair cuts? It's worth noting that normally I only got my hair cut once or twice a year, I'd made up to three times a year prior to the pandemic.
The grey trend was getting big in NYC long before the pandemic hit - young people in their 20s were adding gray to their hair. It started in about 2017. It'll probably hold.
I feel for the restaurants...they are struggling to survive. It's as if they are doing work-arounds. But I agree - it's absurd. The Pizza Place blew my mind - all they did was put up plastic tent enclosures. LOL!

In large apartment complexes - the comings and goings of folks are hard to track. There are the residents who've been here forever and can't afford to move about, folks like me that are kind of in between, and the people who like to move every year or two years. The later - tend to pay full market rent, and are always looking for something better and less expensive.
