Tony (Ansel Elgort) isn't really Broadway - but he can sing and dance at least. I don't know, Presley was able to drop the Southern Accent in some of his films. But I do think people would see Elvis and not Tony. He was too big a star.

Also, I think he was too old. He was in his 30s in the 1960s.
