I went to such small schools that I never had a TA. I don't even know what they are like. My father and brother both worked as TA's. As did my sister in law.
Colorado College had a graduating class of about 140 if that, and the whole school was about 600 if that. University of Kansas School of Law was equally small - with 340.
In stark contrast? My high school graduating class was close to 1,000 and there were about 5,000 or close in the school.
There's something else to take into account here - time. I went to college in 1985-1989 and law school 1991-1994.
The University system, outside of law school, I steered clear of, going to a small liberal arts college instead.
