That was my take as well - that this was a commissioned puff piece by the publicist to get her more publicity and more readers. And make her more relatable. (I'd not heard of her until I read it.)

And it's amusing because the facts kind of undercut their intent. Oh look, I got published without knowing anyone - eh, no, you did. And you were in the publishing industry.

I hadn't heard about the Richard III film - is this a new one? The only one I know about is the one that Ian McKellan did ages ago, when I still cared and actually went out of my way to see Shakespeare.

ETA: Thank you on behalf of my Mom. She's currently scheduled to go for surgery next week to get the stone exploded, crushed or broken down, assuming it doesn't pass in the next five days. She has to go off asprin and any blood thinners. Our cousin told her not to fret over it.
