Mostly dubbed (that’s the other problem with the theater in the village!) You can sometimes get films in the original language in the city, I assume usually with subtitles then, but we went to Darmstadt to see a Tarantino film and were surprised that it was in English there with NO subtitles (so not the easiest for my husband!)
I hate all the dubbing here. I’m sure the fact the Dutch have subtitles is one reason they’re better at English than Germans.
