True enough. I just read a Reddit thread on...sigh Irreversible (a film with a 10 minute rape sequence), and it kind of does that too. Very disturbing. The internet continually makes me aware that there are folks on this planet that I don't want to know exist.

Oh I looked it up - and it turns out I was wrong - the film was done in the 1970s. But I think the director was around during WWII in Italy, when it was under fascist rule. Or that was the impression I got from the analysis in Wiki.
