Definitely not in mayo or sugary pepto pink mayo. Just no. Pickles work best with mustard, if sweet pickles, and/or ketchup if dill - and not on salad, hamburger or hot dog yes. And I'll do sweet pickles in Helman's mayo (the only mayo that I can digest without hurling, outside of homemade mayo) with tuna fish.
