Personally, I don't begrudge entertainers the amount they are paid - they bring far more joy to people's lives than hedge fund managers and CEOs. Also, most actors are living paycheck to paycheck. One I spoke to said that her convention appearances were her "pension."
I'll be very interested to see the new series, I admit.
