I'm finding myself beginning to sympathize with the character as well which is really odd, since I saw her as completely narcissitic in the prior season.
Now I see her as just confused and frustrated with people constantly telling her who they want her to be or who she is. Marina - who they wrote out in an odd manner - is not very sympathetic to me any more. Not sure if the way they wrote Marina out makes much sense - since she was allegedly broke and living off the Lolita Davidovich character. Now she's married to a Count?
At any rate my sympathy is shifting.
