at one point in Season 2 Veronica actually got happier, she was dating Duncan and her Father was ahead in the the political race to regain the Sheriff's office, and I found that the show wasn't working for me.... Veronica Mars is better when she is alone and miserable and fighting up hill....

I hope you can stop fighting up hill treading water soon.
