Oh thank you, I didn't remember that you had reviewed 'Razor', probably I avoided reading it because I didn't see it until the DVD came out (last week). I see you found it just as compelling as I did! And I think there is one huge advantage in using so many women characters: it would be easy to think that having a woman President is what forced Adama to take a 'softer' more humanitarian line, but in 'Razor' they show us believable women characters who are amazingly ruthless and tough.
Oh yes, 'Inkheart' is a wonderful book, I think you would be very impressed with the darkness and imagination in it, by Cornelia Funke (I believe it was written for young adults too). I had found it very disturbing, but also very beautiful... And now I'm thinking of moving the sequel, 'Inkspell', to the top of my 'to read' pile!
