Be a bit of a hard sell to his other team members, considering how John attempted to murder them all in the space of one evening. I certainly wouldn't have tolerated it if I were Gwen et al.

I dunno. Didn't Owen shoot Jack in the finale last year? Fair's fair.

At least he'll be back.
