That's the point, though. Spike would be all "I killed a Slayer, go me! Woo hoo!". Angelus, on the other hand, would be more concerned about the artistry and dramatic irony of how he killed a Slayer. To boast about the simple fact that he killed one at all would be demeaning and beneath him...
