But you now know why I kept saying that after I saw Dollhouse, I knew exactly what Whedon was doing with Twilight.

Yes. Can't say these big shock reveals do a lot for me, especially as ever since the Twangel spoiler broke I've thought how much better the comic would be if we'd known Twilight was Angel all along. The story suddenly got a lot more interesting to me, I know, and I think others have felt the same way.

Does Scott Allie have a purpose besides tweaking fans? I can't see one.

It's hard to say. He seems to have managed to do it again too, though this time unwittingly. For details see [livejournal.com profile] angearia's LJ.

That said, I think he may even believe what he said about the other Twilight having no relevance to this one, but if so he's clearly not familiar at all with the other Twilight or hasn't read his own story properly.

And I agree. I don't like Joss twisting Buffy just to fit in with Fray. I don't even like Fray. I didn't like the original series. Whedon sucks at serious world-building.
