I discovered Midtown Comics when I was with Alice once because there is a store near where her office used to be (she still stops by there occasionally) and when I was in NYC last time I found that there weren't any comic book stores anywhere near where I was on the upper West side, but that Midtown Comics has a store conveniently located in the theater district (VERY convenient for a Wednesday release of new comics when I was going to attend a Wednesday matinee anyway! lol).

My normal commute to my 'local' store is 1/2 hour each way... but I found a really good store close to my dentist (an hour away) so I may stop by there more often (if I have to have a lot more dental work done). I kind of miss the wonderful little comic book store I had back in Pacifica, Calif!
