Took a meandering walk through my neighborhood - where I stopped off at the local B&N and cheered myself by picking up several magazines and two Glee CD's. The music in Glee makes me happy. As my Aunt M states...in some respects their renditions of the songs are better than the original artists or at the very least more joyful. Music is the cure-all for a black mood.

In the mags...30 minute meals (a cooking magazine with pretty pics and lots of cool recipes), two mags on publishing your novel and writing query letters and synopsises - because I suck at both and need to work on that if I ever want said novel to be published, and Sci-Fi Now...yes, I'm a geek, we already know this. Speaking off - Big Bang Theory annoyed me this week - occasionally it gets really sexist. Note to Big Bang Theory writers - lots of women adore Raiders of the Lost Arc and many women hate Eat Pray Love. Although they did make a point of showing that Sheldon's girl-friend liked Raiders and Raj liked Eat Pray Love. Still stereotypes abound at times. But this is true of the vast majority of American situation comedies.)

I also managed to write that article on Haiti, it's not perfect, but it's getting there.

And I read Angel issue 38 and Spike issue 2. Ambivalent about one, loved the other. But am hesitant to write reviews on them. Maybe tomorrow. Depends on my mood.
