Hee. I care too frigging much about pleasing people, fuming at them the whole time. I'm stubborn but hate conflict and rejection - not a good combination.

And anal retentative people who have to have everything done their way! Make me crazy. Because there is no pleasing them. I appear to keep running into these people in my workplace.

The rule I follow - is to cut-tag long posts, spoilers, and lengthy polls or pictures. But there's a caveat - if you cut-tag too much, you get no comments because no one sees the post. Unless you are really good at headers and writing a brief summary or teaser (and I'm not always good at this.)
