I actually avoid horror, but there are some that I've seen and loved:
1. BtVS Conversations With Dead People (altho I agree: Hush is even better) 2. The Shining (the first version w/Jack Nicholson) 3. Halloween (the first w/Jamie Lee Curtis) 4. Psycho (the first w/Janet Lee) 5. Shawn of the Dead (I know it is hilarious, that's why it is a favorite) 6. Zombieland (a nice mix of scary and funny) 7. 'The Crawling Eye' and 'Attack of the Killer Tomatoes' and others of that early VERY silly creepy film fun. 8. Alien (scary sci-fi fun with a strong female character who takes over completely in:) Aliens 9. Lost Boys (my favorite of the teen vamp movies) 10. and of course I have to say the early Twilight Zone, even though you named it on your list, because I LOVED those (even though many of them scared me).
