Ringer..

Handyman stopped by and fixed my bathroom light and kitchen light. In return, I gave him my collection of X-men comics, mostly because he loves them, and I have no idea what to do with them. His eyes lit up when I offered. Was on the fence about handing over the Buffy and Spike comics, but can't quite part with them yet. I've no idea why I didn't just give him the Buffy comics and Whedon's Astonishing X-Men. You'd think I'd want to throw them on a bonfire or something, considering the number of times I've ranted and whined about Whedon. I don't claim to make sense, even to myself.

Anyhow, lots of space freed up now. So two birds one stone.

Ringer

Hee...all my thoughts are spoilery so behind the cut.

* the production value of this series is just one step above a daytime soap opera, they are even boring guest actors from daytime soaps.

* Ohhh...that's the One World Trade Center Plaza - I've been there. Watched a concert in that space once. Also traversed through it for one too many job interviews with big financial companies and publishing firms (Standards and Poors is located in that building somewhere). Last one, I think was American Express.

* Totally called it on Bridget's new sponsor. I pegged him as Siobhan's spy some time ago. And now, apparently hit man. Not at all surprised. (He also plays Billy on Young and the Restless or so I'm told. I don't watch Y&R, so wouldn't know.) Knew it! Also, can we have a moment of...I want to say silence, but am tempted to say celebration for the demise of Gemma.
Gemma...we hardly knew yah, or we did but it wasn't all that appealing. If the best thing she did was the World Trade Center Plaza? Trust me, no loss.

* And we're back to the trials and tribulations of Juliet. Okay, why is the English teacher calling Daddy about Jules? Granted I love Jason Dohring otherwise known as the guy from Moonlight and Veronica Mars (where he played a sort of pseudo bad boy character, which makes it a bit difficult to trust him here - sort of like whenever Mark A Shepard pops up in things.) Oh, she called the English teacher (Mr. C) for help and he, being the responsible teacher type called Daddy. (Uh, if she called you, instead of Daddy, wouldn't that indicate there's a reason she's not calling Daddy?) This round we get to be inside Jules head for a bit. And realize Daddy really is one heck of a judgemental SOB. Almost feel sorry for Bridget...something tells me that Daddy isn't going to be that understanding. Poor Jules, she tries to help a friend in need, and loses her trust friend as a result. Jules to friend in need: "Bitch, you so owe me. Like a 10 million dollars." Oh..Jules, just when we were beginning to feel sorry for you. Also, does this mean that you are going to hook up with Mr. C as your new boyfriend/father figure, while he feels oh-so-guilty about it. (Shame I like the actor. I was thrilled to see him, just wish he had a better storyline. Almost enough to make one feel sorry for television actors.)

*Speaking of Bridget...Bridget sees Malcolm, who has finally managed to escape from the mob (although they let him go in the hopes he'd make a bee-line to Bridget, which of course he did. Apparently the torture bit wasn't working that well (realistic that - torture actually doesn't work in real life, yes, the tv show "24" lied to you, let's move on), so they chose to do the let's follow him to her instead. I'm not sure if he lost them or not. Sort of hope he didn't, because I'm curious to see the big bad mobster take on Siobhan's crew. But I am glad Malcolm escaped. I rather like Malcolm. Granted we've seen very little of Malcolm outside of the torture scenes. Which maybe why I like him? What he sees in Bridget? I've no clue.
Anyhow, Bridget sees him and proceeds to faint? Or falls over and knocks herself out, wasn't quite sure which. She just sort of goes..."Malcolm?" Then ..."Ahhh" and bonk. Talk about having an effect on a gal. Heaven forbid what she'll do when she sees Siobhan again. This lands Bridget in the hospital with a concussion. Okay. But why did she faint? Was it Malcolm?
And oops, of course because she had a concussion, they have to check on the baby. Malcolm apparently called an ambulance and got Bridget to the hospital. Go Malcolm. Although considering they have to check on the baby...this may not be a good thing. The cliff-hanger?
OMG - will Andrew find out Bridget's not preggers? Wait until next week! (Show? Stop teasing me. We know you are going to find some way to prevent him from finding out. )

* Meanwhile Siobhan's hitman doubling as Bridget's sponsor named Charlie, has asked Siobhan what's next on her agenda? Okay, so Siobhan killed Gemma just to stop her from revealing to anyone that Siobet is really Bridget and not Siobhan? Why? To hide longer? And does Siobhan know that Sio/Bridget has more or less told the cops that "Bridget" was involved in Gemma's death and took off to Europe? Would she care? Do they cops believe Siobet (as far as I can tell? nope.) What is Siobhan's agenda? And why is Siobhan doing it, outside of the fact that she's a first class greedy bitch? I still find Siobhan more interesting than Bridget. But they are dragging this out too long. The pacing is off, it's too daytime soap, needs to be more prime-time soap to work.

Off to bed. Busy busy work day. Oral presentations, meetings, and train travel. Lots of fun.
