I wonder if it is a residue effect of the Mary Margaret Blanchard persona that is resulting in Snow second-guessing herself and losing her gumption? That persona always felt guilty and apologized for everything - convinced she didn't deserve happiness. Which makes me wonder if that bit was built into the curse? Interesting curse.
