I picked the scene mainly because it really encapsulates the thematic arc of the series and the metaphors.
While loved the end of Beneath You, it jars with the rest of the episode. It works for Spike, but I'm not sure it works in respect to the other characters...Buffy comes across as very unsympathetic. I love it, but...the chess scene in The Wire is better - no jarring, perfect, flawless.
