I also really like the notion of how the Tomorow People are unable to kill. Because you'd think that at least one TP would have considered just killing the people coming after them. By making the inability to kill a genetic thing, something they physically can not do, it makes the threat of Ultra far more serious and on top of that, makes it clear that it's not that the heroes are so moral, that keeps them from just taking out the main bad guy.
