Vampire Diaries has Love Fishing Nets of doom. Everyone is involved with everyone simultaneously and oy, now I have a headache.

Hee. Although I will give them credit for deconstructing the one true love/romeo & juliet trope and showing how narcissitically destructive it can be.

No one has quite gone that far with it.

Oh, I hope they don't pit Hook and Neal against each other over Henry. That's as tiresome as a rivalry over Emma.

Can't say I'd enjoy it either - considering how frustrating I found the Regina vs. Emma battle over Henry. Love triangles tend to annoy me no matter who they are bracketed with - in part because I feel sorry for the underdog and get highly annoyed with the whomever they are fighting over. I will give Emma credit - she basically told them both off and didn't choose either. Which is one of the things I love about Emma, she refuses to make it all about some guy. (Belle should take lessons.)

Hook tried that game already with Baelfire already and it didn't quite work. So he may have learned his lesson. Personally, I'd like to see a Hook/Baelfire team up or cooperation effort, but that's just me.

I honestly don't know what they plan on doing with Hook. I do know that they plan on doing more back-story for him. And that, according to the actress playing Emma, the love triangle is on the back-burner for the time being.
