Somewhat bored with the current book that I'm reading, need to find a new one.

The first of the Four Soldiers one? I admit I never read it. Nothing in its premise caught my attention. I wasn't entirely sure what was the hook. Plus, the fact that it's basically MIA throughout the rest of the series didn't make me feel compelled to go back to it. I liked the middle 2 books, though (Similarly, I found myself bored by The Serpant Prince in another of Hoyt's series, ...though I enjoyed the other two in that one).

I don't find the Masters of Sex all that compelling. It's very prettily done, but honestly, it's kind of a Mad Men retread (only with a sex study). Same era and while the subject matter seems as though it might have gone a different direction than Mad Men, in execusion it just seems... somewhat similar. Basically it's about a screwed up privileged white guy in the late 50s/early 60s who is a douche to everyone. Actually, I'm not sure that Don Draper doesn't come off better by comparison. At least Don genuinely cares about his kids and doesn't sleep with Peggy.

Outlander has been relatively fun (though not deep). Very pretty scenery...and then there's Scotland. (Iow, oh my the male lead is pretty. I...er... don't watch it any more profoundly than that.)
