General snarkiness and foul temper
Nov. 17th, 2003 03:24 pmCranky foul temper. Outside of the lovely time I spent in Chinatown and wandering around the lower east side on Sat with a dear friend and fellow ATS watcher - a wonderful reprieve btw (honestly my fellow ATS/BTVS fans have become my life-savers), the weekend was a tough one. Stressed out of my gorge is an understatement.
In a Dorothy Parker frame of mind.
Resume
Razors pain you;
Rivers are damp;
Acids stain you;
And drugs cause cramp.
Guns aren't lawful;
Nooses give;
Gas smells awful;
You might as well live.
Dorothy Parker
Odd, she declined to mention jumping off bridges and rooves. And were there subways in Parker's time? Probably couldn't find a rhyme.
Interesting - all these people disliked Lineage and loved Tale. I loved both, but ironically find myself having far more lengthy and interesting discussions on the metaphors and subtext in Lineage than I've seen or have had on Tale. Weird. Could be a mood thing.
