Been binge-watching Grace and Frankie via netflix. A charming situational comedy that focuses on interpersonal relationships with a stellar cast. Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin play Grace and Frankie, two women in their 70s whose husbands have left them after 40 years of marriage for each other. The husbands are portrayed by Martin Sheen and Sam Waterson. Apparently the husbands have been having a clandestine affair with each other for 20 years.

The series is an example of how you can be witty without being sexually explicit or violent. There's sex, but it is rather subdued and happens off-screen.

One of the better written series I've seen in a while.

Got this on my Netflix to-watch list; looking forward to it.

I love it, especially Lily Tomlin. And Sam Watterson.

I just read that Jane Fonda was 77 and Lily Tomlin is 75...whoa. They do not look it.
I'd have guessed late 60s.

And, yeah, I'm loving Lily Tomlin -- she's hilarious. The daughter, Britna, is growing on me. I've binged through 11 episodes today.

Love this little series. So far netflix streaming has the best summer television series.

I really like Britna, too--keep hoping things will go better for her, but love how snarky she can be. I rationed Grace and Frankie out for a while, but sadly finished it a couple of weeks ago. Ready for a new season! Do you watch Orange Is the New Black? Also Unbreakable, but maybe that's Amazon Prime. Transparent was definitely excellent (and definitely AP).

Netflix is indeed money well-spent. I'm now watching all the back seasons of Longmire. It's well-done, but you have to like western mysteries. The main character is a Marlboro-man sheriff, but he has weaknesses. And his deputy is Katee Sackhoff and his best friend is Lou Diamond Phillips, and the plots are good. But it is a western (mostly cars, not horses, but still) and a mystery.

Yep - I watched the first season of Orange is the New Black about a year ago. Just got the streaming device, so it's in my queue, along with Sense8, Longmire (which my parents and a close friend keep trying to get me to watch), Bloodlines, House of Cards, Rectify, and Transparent (that's Amazon Prime - which I get for free).

Is Unbreakable - Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt? Because I tried a few episodes, and have mixed feelings about it. It's not really my sense of humor - too obvious and slapsticky/embarrassment humor/satire, and I prefer more touching/witty a la Grace and Frankie.

Finished Daredevil last weekend, which blew me away - by far the best graphic novel/superhero based television series that I've seen to date.

It's weird, I spend less time watching television now than I did without DVR's and Streaming Devices. I think it's because I can now watch it whenever I please? So I'm more picky and moody about it?

Unbreakable Amy Schmidt, yeah. It's another one that's definitely a taste. I would have watched it just for Tituss Burgess, but he's the most over the top in the whole group.

I think my viewing time is pretty much the same. If I want to watch something, I do, whenever and however, going back to taping episodes of Buffy...
