I can't help but wonder if IDW is hunting ways to explain what Dark House has decided to do with Angel to themselves. First they poke fun with the whole Spike making up prophecies that would make Angel the villian and him the hero, then they come up with the parasite bit to explain people acting out of character. It's hilarious.
