Oh dear, I am being a bad person and tempting you...
In general, I like Anton's characterization of Willow. The series starts sometime in mid-S6, and I think she handles the addiction storyline a lot better than ME ultimately did. That said, the last installment (Diary of Geek the Girl) definitely gets to the sappy side, although once I was sucked in, it was hard to stop reading. The first three can function as pure character pieces emphasizing similarities and friendship instead of romance, imho.
Huh, I never quite got S/X, probably because I saw S6 and S2 before S4, so the Xander in my mind virulently hates vampires and hates Spike. But then I guess that could turn into some sort of Krychek/Mulder thing. S/A I'd like to think is practically canon now ;).
