Yeah, when I was hunting a law job after law school, my parents and I did a lot of touring of Western Kansas. It wasn't pretty.
We listened to a lot of NPR and tapes. I had a lot music cassettes back then that I'd play instead of the radio.
Didn't realize the route was more direct from Kansas City, Missouri than Prarie Village (Johnson County), you'd think it would be the opposite? Took about 30 minutes to get to the highway and an hour from there. So almost two hours, close to three.
Weird to think I haven't driven a car in 17 years, considering I used to drive daily and long distances to boot.
