I've seen this case cited (https://www.law.cornell.edu/supremecourt/text/395/444#writing-USSC_CR_0395_0444_ZO) as the reason why Trump won't be prosecuted for threatening Clinton. I don't know if it will actually apply, but seems to fit to my eyes. Unfortunately. I'd love to see him go to jail, preferably a state prison in the south...
