I'd agree, it depends on how you are obsessing over it. If you are chasing
down the poor actors and acting as if they are the character in real life,
you have a problem. Or if you are spending all your time obsessing over the
show, to the exclusion of all else. Or...fighting people online constantly
who disagree with you...
Then yes, that starts to move in the wrong direction. And I've seen cases
of that across the board online.
I don't think being a fan of a tv show is all that different than being a
fan of a musical group or a sports team. Some of the same behavior traits
apply.
