Yep, me too. People will rec things to me, and I'll try them and
think...this is just not engaging my attention. Recently tried an urban
fantasy story that focused on greek myths but it just did not hold my
attention.
I don't really know why. Same with the series "Better Call Saul" -- which
people love and I couldn't make it past the first two episodes.
