Yep. And hiring folks like Alexis Denisof (whose wife is doing very well on HIMYM), Amy Acker, and Nathan Fillion. I can see where he's coming from.

Truth is? In comparison to the vast majority of actors, Marsters is actually doing quite well. Ben Browder, and he hasn't gotten a major role since Star-Gate wrapped. And Claudia Black - you never see her.
(Both Farscape - a show that was on for 4 years. Stargate? Last two seasons. And on SyFy.)

I remember Jon Shea...loved Jon Shea, he used to play Lex in the New Adventures of Lois and Clark, then did Mutant X for a bit, but I fell for him when he did a mini-series way back when and lots of made for tv movies. Haven't seen him since.

There's a 99% unemployment rate. I've lost count of the number of actors that I've met who gave up on acting and are in computer programming, business administration, or running a shop. Debra Winger - have you seen her that often? Or how about Jobeth Williams (from Poltergeist)? I used to love Richard Hatch - who I hadn't seen since the original BattleStar Galatica aired, until well he got cast in the new one (by which time, I'd lost interest in him.)

I feel for Marsters, but that's the biz. And he's doing remarkably well considering - has gotten four or five roles a year.
