Oh, I know the Nina&Ian story. I was all over that fandom until season seven (you know, after Nina left). They were still dating at the very beginning of filming season four -- arguably some of their best chemistry is season three. But when the characters are actually together, Nina and Ian were pretty much consummate professionals. Nina even went so far as to hang out with other CW cast members from adjacent sets, rather than TVD, because Ian kind of won that divorce.
But yeah, I get it. There was another show where the actors just hated one another and the chemistry was phenomenal until one of them was like "NOPE CAN'T DO THIS ANYMORE." A recent-ish one. I can't remember!
