Russian Troubles: There is a scam going around with crooks offering places they don't own for rent on the Internet hoping people will put down money sight-unseen. I hope that wasn't what happened.
(Far off topic) A Youtube creator I follow posted a video today about a military ration someone had sent her. She was told it was a Russian ration. But when she pulled out a phone, and tried to use a Russian-English translation app on the writing on the wrapper she got nothing. She tried Ukrainian-English and got some words but not everything. So she asked the viewers if it was a Russian or Ukrainian ration. Long before I got there plenty of folks were telling her it was Russian. Moral? Don't trust phone apps. ;o)
