Depends on your pov...but while Marsters was doing his close-up, one of the guys thought it would be funny to fondle his crotch with their foot. They pull pranks like that all the time. Marsters didn't blink -- and they praised him profusely. (He'd gone through far worse on Buffy with Gellar and Angel with Boreanze, this was nothing.)
Honestly? You couldn't pay me enough to be network television actor -- it sounds like pure hell. You have to put up with over-paid adolescents and bad writing. (I watched that episode he was in of SPN, it was horribly written and directed.) No, the people with the power in television are the show-runners and producers.
