Really looking forward to Sanditon myself, especially if they've opened up the action. But I do hope Davies doesn't make the hash of it he made of South Riding. BTW, Miss Lambe was expressly said to be a WOC in the book though I agree Austen would never have taken the action to the West Indies herself - she advised her niece, who was writing a novel, not to take her characters to Ireland as she hadn't been there herself, so I'd imagine the West Indies would be even more so. And also, I don't think she'd have wanted to remind her sister of where her sister's fiance died.
