As to alternate meanings for MAGA, pretty early on I thought of it as "Make America Greedy Again".
Yeah, I know, we've always been, but-- 'tis definitely worse than the 50's through 70's IMO. Reagan restarted it ("trickle down"), Bush Jr. helped (tax cuts, war), Trumpy's trying to nail the coffin.
