I agree. Rejoicing at someone else's death...sort of takes you a rung beneath the person you've demonized in your head, I'd think. People are so good at demonizing one another...instead of figuring out the whys and wherefores.
What I loved about Farscape is it showed us who Scorpius and Crais were. Didn't just give us the hero's view. From one angle Scorpius seemed worse than Hitler - a sadistic torturer, from another...a victim. It's easier I think to see people as all one thing. Harder to see the facets.
