Spontaneous Musings

One of my friends read all the books and is a huge fan of the series - and apparently S4 had issues in part because the writers chose to add the boring portions of fifth book in the series to it, and felt the need to write a storyline for characters that had disappeared from the book or did not have a story at that point. Season 5 is apparently following the books a bit more closely and focusing on the action-packed portion. She said you don't need to know everything on S4 or can skim it.
