Day #17 of the 30 Days of Television Challenge

The prompt is A Zombie film, song, television series or books series that you enjoyed.

It should be noted that I don't like zombies. Although I get the metaphor - particularly now. Some of the maskless wonders remind me a lot of zombies.

That said, I've seen a lot of zombie films. I'm going with a musical, just because.

Mine is Anna and the Apocalypse. Basically it's a Teenage Christmas Musical in England, with Zombies. It wasn't as good as I thought it would be, but still entertaining.

For someone who doesn't like zombies, I've apparently seen a lot of zombie movies.

Enough horror and slow-moving, stalking death! Zombie party!

"Zombie Jamboree" has been covered innumerable times since its first appearance in 1953. The Kingston Trio hit the charts with their version in 1959, and Harry Belafonte, The Spinners, Peter Tosh, and Harry Nilsson (among many others) have recorded it since.

I first encountered the tune through Rockapella:

This is kind of embarrassing. I've never seen a zombie movie.

I don't care for them either but Warm Bodies was kind of funny.

There are songs about zombies, too? There might be a brief mention of zombies in "Monster Mash" but I don't know the lyrics by heart. (I'm really bad at remembering lyrics.)

Wait. There were zombies in the "Thriller" music video, right? There were skeletons for sure...

Of course I have heard of popular zombie shows like The Walking Dead but I've never watched an episode.

Uh, there was an episode of The X-Files that had zombies in it.

Okay. THIS IS AWESOME. It's a X-Files/Walking Dead crossover vid by my favorite vidder, snakey973: A day to die.

Yes, I liked that one too. Indeed not perfect but a good try and I'm glad they went for it, at least it was different. It reminded me of something else and now I forget what, heh.

Link didn't work? Argh. I should always test links.

This was checked: A Day to Die.
